The VP of Human Resources, People and Culture will lead all activities related to recruiting, retaining, developing and advancing a team of people who live the mission of IntraHealth Group / OrthoAtlanta in support of those we serve. The Vice President of Human Resources, People and Culture is responsible for developing and executing all activities regarding the organization's people initiatives and strategies. The VP of Human Resources, People and Culture will be accountable for actively participating in setting overall organizational strategy alongside the executive leadership team, supporting the CEO in the role of trusted advisor regarding current and emerging issues and opportunities in developing a world-class team of health care and administrative professionals who believe in and support a mission focused on providing superior quality at a lower episodic cost of care. This role will be responsible for managing the Human Resources department operations and administrative functions, including Occupational Health and Safety, Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits, staff Training and Development and other external and internal educational programs. Requirements
Education: Master's degree in Health Administration, Organizational Development, Business Administration or relevant field preferred.
Experience: 10 years of significant experience in Human Resource management in a healthcare setting required. Experience in a senior level position strongly preferred.
Possess current knowledge of both Federal and State wage, compensation and employment labor Laws.
Analyze and assess training and development needs for health care professionals, including support functions.
Use data to inform decisions and assist executive leadership in adopting and applying evidence-based talent management practices in the context of a rapidly changing world.
Design, develop and implement salary administration plans and benefit programs.
Build consensus, rally support around common goals and to motivate groups and individuals.
Think strategically and creatively.
Successfully handle multiple priorities and prioritize and schedule accordingly.
Rapidly process and comprehend large amounts of detailed information, consider the implications and consequences of new facts and make decisions.
Formulate policy and develop and implement new strategies and procedures.
Evidence of experience in promoting an inclusive and multicultural approach to talent development.
Naturally outgoing and friendly - committed to excellent organization and customer service skills.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills. Strong computer skills.
