Liveo Research is a global manufacturer of rigid packaging solutions with five locations worldwide. Our pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in Delaware City, Delaware is looking for an HR Generalist reporting to the HR Manager.

What you will do:
  • Generalist will manage required tasks to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to talent and performance management, payroll, compensation, benefits, leaves, training and development, productivity, recognition, and moral.
  • Direct the recruiting process and helps facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Coordinates new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees.
  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee files and policies and procedural documentation.
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems. Helps monitor the performance evaluation program and assists with revisions as necessary.
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include company training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Backup to HR admin for payroll processing.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Liveo is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 – 4 years’ experience as a HR Generalist, concentration in recruiting and payroll preferred.
  • SHRM certification a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 Depending on Experience
