LinQuest Corporation is Hiring a Manager, Program Control Near Colorado, CO

Description

TMC, a LinQuest company, is seeking a Manager, Program Control to join our team in New Mexico or Colorado. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance is required.

The Manager, Program Control will be responsible for financial, project control and business operations on all assigned programs. In addition, you will be responsible for managing direct reports in the Program Control department, implementing and managing project-wide control procedures, and leading operational tasks in the areas of cost and document control, in order to meet project performance objectives.

**This position may be eligible for hybrid work.**

Responsibilities:

  • Manage direct budgets, forecasts and waterfalls, and coordinate with the LOB Sr. VP, GM's and PM's on budget, forecast and waterfall updates.
  • Prepare, quality control check, and submit monthly status reports.
  • Partner with pricing and program control team in development of price proposals and cost estimates including documentation of pricing assumptions and basis of estimates.
  • Provide financial support to the LOB Sr. VP and GM's in order for them to make informed decisions regarding their LOB.
  • Responsible for review of on contract pricing and proposals.
  • Identifies and tracks Risk & Opportunities based on most recent anticipated financial performance.
  • Works with Billing to minimize unbilled amounts for the contracts within their LOB.
  • Lead and/or support month end close processes.
  • Reviews and supports the quarterly 606 EAC process for their LOB.
  • Supports monthly internal/external financial and program reviews.
  • Manage, direct, guide and coach direct reports.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.

  • 10 years of experience in program control and in managing a program control team, including PC/Finance staff. Relative certifications and advanced degrees may be considered in lieu of years of experience.

  • Expertise in U.S. Government (FAR/DFARs) Contracting.
  • Prior supervisory and managerial experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP Accounting.
  • Prior Program Control experience.
  • Highly skilled with financial modeling, analysis, and reporting with Excel, PowerPoint and other productivity tools.
  • Critical thinker, analytical skills, attention to detail.
  • Organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Prior experience with various contract types such as IDIQs, Time & Material, Cost types, Firm Fixed Price, etc.
  • Deals with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
  • Harmoniously works with other employees and customers.
  • Exercises independent judgement and proactively handles complex issues.
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills.
  • Exemplifies our core values.
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • EVMS experience.
  • Deltek Costpoint experience.

Compensation: Starting salary ranges from approximately $130,000 - $150,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
