Celtic Developers Group is looking for floor Managers to lead one of our locations located in NYC. Celtic Developers Group comprises five bustling locations in NoMad, Union Square, Times Square, and Midtown East, focusing on harboring good “craic” in a stunning environment. Our high-volume locations have fun bars where our guests feel like family.
Responsibilities (These are not all-inclusive):
-Extensive Wine and spirits knowledge is preferred
- Ability to manage the front of house
- Build and maintain a high-performance team and be involved in hiring.
- Responsible for building the FOH team schedules
- Maintain and update knowledge of food and beverage menus to educate FOH teams and guests
- Ensure that the FOH teams are thoroughly trained and knowledgeable in all aspects of service
- Act as a role model for all FOH teams and continue to coach, mentor, and guide the FOH teams
- Effectively manage the restaurant, including administration of policies and guidelines of the company
- Maintain fast, accurate service and positive guest relations
- Ensure products are consistent with company quality standards
- Ensure Occupational Safety & Health Act, local health and safety codes, and all local, state, and federal employment laws are met
- Assist profit & loss by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions
- Conducts performance appraisals, takes disciplinary action, motivates and trains
- Ensure maintenance of equipment, facility, and grounds
- Ensure food quality at all times
- Ensure a safe working and customer experience environment by facilitating safe work behaviors of the team
- Perform day-to-day responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Director of Operations
