Position Overview: The Health Support Assistant is responsible to support the team in meeting the health and medical needs of the individuals that live in the home. Additionally, The Health Support Assistant Provides advocacy, supervision, training and direct support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities base upon each person's plan. Promote positive behaviors and interactions with all individuals receiving services.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Any combination of education and experience which demonstrates the abilities and knowledge for successful performance will be considered. In order to transport individual's employees are required to meet LAI's Vehicle Operator Requirements.
