Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, feeding, and other services
• Home support (light housekeeping, vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes)
• Preparing and serving meals
• Provide great companionship and social and emotional support for the patient by actively conversing, listening, or reading aloud to them
• Assistance with transportation to appointments, errands, and shopping.
• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, and social condition and report promptly to a licensed nurse and/or supervisor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Proof of COVID vaccination & TB Test
• Must be 18 years old and above
• Accomplished clean criminal background history
• Ability to pass drug tests
• BLS certification encouraged
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to be trained
• Valid Driver’s License and automobile insurance
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects
