Duties and Responsibility

• Assist patients with activities of daily life such as bathing, oral care, dressing, toileting, and garment changes when incontinence develops, ambulation, and eating in a clinical setting.
• Ensure the health and safety of patients by assisting with meal planning and preparation
• Supervise, plan, and participate in activities with clients
• Take, record, and monitor vital signs as required
• Transfer, position, and turn residents regularly or as needed
• Provide emotional and social support to residents and their families
• Respect residents’ confidentiality at all times
• Be a companion when patients need to go shopping, doctor’s visits, and other appointments outside the home

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old and above
• Valid Driver’s License and automobile insurance
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Ability to act quickly and efficiently in times of emergency
• Proof of COVID vaccination and TB test
• Emotional maturity and ability to avoid intrusion of personal problems on quality and stability of service
• Physically fit
