General Position Summary
Records and maintains the underlying business transaction details that reflect and document the financial activities of the organization.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements.
- Directly works with multiple departments within the supply chain, accounts receivable, corporate programs, and treasury operations to capture information for the monthly close process.
- Develop periodic reporting on key business performance metrics and analyze trends and variances.
- Analyze and interpret data relating to financial and operational performance.
- Communicate with employees at all levels of the company.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Required Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting and/or financial/data analysis
- Exceptionally proficient in reporting, managing, and analyzing data
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Proficient in MS Office and general ledger packages
- Strong business acumen
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision
