Position Summary:

The Infrastructure & Operations Specialist is responsible for implementing and maintaining the digital network of servers and enterprise networking components across the organization. Position includes project support, execution, and documentation of technical demands of various departments. Responsible for maintaining management platforms for asset automation, software/ patch deployments, remote support systems, and terminal fuel delivery systems.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to the following):

* Provide advanced level support to users on a variety of issues: identify, research, and resolve technical problems.

* Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network and security devices.

* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency by leveraging scripting, automation, or other process improvements.

* Collaborate with department peers to identify technology requirements and solutions.

* Collaborate with vendors on the implementation of upgrades and/or escalate and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.

* Create and maintain documentation for preventative maintenance and network topology.

* Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex network and security issues.

* Monitor network performance to evaluate efficient operation and prevent network issues.

* Perform and maintain Backups, Replication, and Disaster Recovery.

* Ensure up to date and redundant fuel delivery software at all terminal locations.

* Group Policy, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory maintenance.

* Perform on-call duties as emergencies arise.

* Maintain and implement practices that will more effectively utilize IT resources.

* Research and identify hardware and software products, cabling, wiring, etc. applicable to organizational environment.

* Maintain working knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and evolving technologies.

Job Qualifications (refers to job, not incumbent):

Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is required. Bachelors degree in relevant field is preferred.

5 7 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant Windows, Cisco, and networking certifications preferred.
