ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Creative, self-motivated individual who takes initiative.

2. Some proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite applications, specifically Photoshop and Lightroom.

3. Work as a member of the Athletic Creative Team to ensure that the creative needs of Liberty Athletics are met.

4. Demonstrate competency with social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, etc.).

5. Understanding of athletics and how to use video and photo content to tell a story.

6. Photography and/or videography experience preferred.

7. Effective communicator both verbally and written.

8. Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines.

9. Ability to work nights and weekends.

10. Ability to travel if needed.

11. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS

Education and Experience

• Current Liberty University student

• Some proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite applications, specifically Photoshop and Lightroom

• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well-articulated information.

• Intuitively able to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature.

• Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing work environments.

Physical and Sensory Abilities

• Willingness to travel and work nights and weekends as assigned.

• Frequently required to sit for extended periods to perform creative work or type on a keyboard.

• Regularly required to hear and speak in order to effectively communicate orally.

• Regularly work in an outdoor environment, such as an athletics event.

• Handle materials, reach overhead, kneel, or stoop in order to conduct business.

• Regularly lift 20 or fewer pounds.

• Regularly required to see and discern colors.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work Environment

The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position will vary from climate-controlled office setting to outdoor athletic events. Noise level at athletic events can be moderate to loud.
