Job Description SummaryThe camp Instructor will teach, assist, direct, and coordinate performances, exhibits, viewing, etc. Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Theatre Acting/Dance Instructor - Teaches acting. Assists with the technical production of performance.
Theatre Musical Director - Teaches voice, assists with technical production and operates as Musical Director for the production (piano and music reading skills required)
Theatre Choreographer - Teaches dance, assists with technical production and operates as Choreographer for the production (dance experience required)
Theatre Director - Directs musical. Coordinate rehearsals with camp staff. Designs set and work with production staff.
Art Visual Arts Lead Instructor – Teaches studio art concepts and design using a variety of materials. Leads a team of instructors for camp M-F.
Art Drawing/Painting Instructor – Teaches drawing and painting M-F. Assists other instructors/lead instructors in studio art projects for camp.
Art Sculpture Instructor – Teaches sculpture M-F. Assists other instructors/lead instructors in studio art projects for camp.
Art Photography Instructor – Teaches photography M-F. Assists other instructors/lead instructors in studio art projects for camp.
Film - Instructors that can balance creativity and management to guide campers through the basic steps of the entire filmmaking process.

Qualifications And CredentialsEducation and Experience Liberty University Student ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES ESSENTIAL TO THE FUNCTION OF THE JOB Communication and Comprehension
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well articulated information.
Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent computer skills.

Intuitively able to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature.
Physical and Sensory Abilities
