1. Serve as receptionist for Veterans Center Front Desk: Maintain professional visual aesthetic of the entrance of the Veterans Center. Welcome and direct guests to sign in. Notify VC Supervisor of student visits and special guests. Be able to answer general questions about Military Affairs Office and Veterans Center.
2. Ensure Veterans Center is comfortable for guests: Making coffee and ensuring coffee bar is clean and stocked throughout the day. Ensuring all furniture is clean and in order throughout the day. Ensuring Veterans Center is cleaned and organized according to VC Reset Checklist at the end of every day.
3. Upkeep of Conference Room Scheduling: Ensuring requests are submitted and marked on calendar. Ensuring professional appearance of conference room and door calendar. Working with VC Supervisor to settle disputes over space and that space is being used in a professional manner and without abuse of the space.
4. Perform other duties incidental to the work described herein and as assigned by the Supervisor of the Veterans Center.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
2. 1-2 years in a volunteer/service capacity and customer service experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
2. GPA of 2.5 or above.
3. Some experience in a volunteer or service capacity.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate-controlled office setting. It is well lighted and the noise level is moderate.
