Liberty Personnel Services is Hiring a Land Development Manager Near Pompano Beach, FL

My client is a top ranked, highly reputable, nationwide real estate development company looking to add a Land Development Manager to their team in Pompano Beach, FL!

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from a 4-year college or university.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in land development projects (preferably residential projects)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook, required. Proficiency in other construction-related software programs is a plus!
  • Must have the ability to travel overnight.
  • Must have experience with assisting in
  • Experience with managing NPDES/SWPPP programs for each project.
  • Must possess negotiation skills when it comes to final contracts, and the pricing and scheduling for change orders.
  • Must be able to lead teams of all disciplines during the construction process- examples would be engineers, surveyors, attorneys and land planners, to name a few.
  • Experience with creating and maintaining project schedule timelines and budgets during the project to report to and update the Director Development, per their request.
  • Attend HOA meetings and sit on the HOA boards as needed.
  • Coordinate and lead different phases for project amenities- design, review, approval, permitting, bidding, and award processes.
  • Coordinate and lead on-site inspections, turnovers, startups, and final walkthroughs required for each project.
  • Be a leader- must be able to lead prospective projects including creation and reviews of budgets and schedules, review site reports, development orders and plat requirements. Must be able to take charge and provide comments regarding plats, engineering plans, and landscape plans.
  • Experience interacting with local government agencies is a plus.
