Boca Biolistics LLC is Hiring a Business Development Representative : Life Sciences Near Pompano Beach, FL

The Business Development Representative is a self-motivated resourceful, hunter, sales professional with a scientific background in selling biospecimens, central lab services and clinical research services to help us grow and expand our commercial business. This position is a mission critical sales role for Boca Bio responsible for prospecting and developing new customer relationships to build a robust pipeline of business, executing sales strategy, and supporting our loyal customers. This role will sell our products and services, as well as launch new products and additional capabilities. The Associate Business Development Director will work closely with bio-pharmaceutical laboratories, biotechnology laboratories, reference laboratories, diagnostic companies, and academic core labs to generate new business opportunities and grow revenue for the company. This role will make a significant impact to increase revenue and supercharge our customer’s research in preclinical, biomarker discovery, cancer, diagnostics, immunology, and cell therapy. The incumbent in this role may perform some or a combination of the responsibilities below:

Responsibilities:

  • Live Boca Biolistics core values
  • Develop relationships with diagnostics, biotech, pharmaceutical, and cell therapy companies to identify opportunities to sell biospecimens, prospective clinical research services, and reference lab services to meet customer needs
  • Initiate and develop productive client relationships in multiple areas (i.e. lab management, bench research, core lab, and procurement) within aligned client accounts and at multiple levels within them (scientist, project manager, principal investigators and C-levels)
  • Achieve or exceed sales and revenue objectives while delivering client satisfaction to ensure renewal orders, future projects, and achieve excellent customer retention
  • Develop and execute creative sales strategies to identify new business opportunities to sell off-the-shelf products and custom capabilities to ensure the company meets our revenue objectives
  • Develop a deep understanding of the accounts and key relationships to map accounts, document insights, and record competitive intelligence in our CRM system
  • Use problem-solving and critical thinking to influence and close business based on value not discounts and pricing
  • Qualify leads through email, phone calls, and social media using BANT (Budget, Authority, Needs, Timeline) methodology or another effective prospecting framework
  • Document all sales calls, client feedback, and interactions in our CRM system
  • Use insight and consultative selling to educate clients about their processes and industry to offer unique perspectives on improving their research with company products and custom services
  • Conduct polished virtual and on-site discovery calls, presentations, and capability calls with decision makers, influencers, and multiple client stakeholders utilizing approved collateral
  • A hunting mentality, self-starter personality, autonomous, and driven to accomplish

Skills

  • Proven working experience as a business development Representative , sales executive or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Hubspot)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
