We are seeking a Project Manager for the Atlanta office who can work independently and collaboratively with a team to manage projects and lead work efforts, oversee the production of project deliverables, and be the primary liaison to the client. Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have excellent, management, communication and teamwork skills and can engage with the array of LEO A DALY’s resources in achieving high-performance, sustainable outcomes. The ideal candidate for role is someone who enjoys taking multi-disciplined projects from beginning to end, while also leading and mentoring others. The Project Manager will work on a wide variety of projects in a collaborative team environment and provide project leadership in delivery of architecture and engineering services.

• Establish project goals, objectives, design standards and procedures with project teams and Market Sector Leaders
• Manage the project(s) scope, and plan and develop concepts and approaches appropriate to the construction budget and the professional disciplines in carrying out the project work.
• Assure overall quality, completeness, and accuracy of Project Documents
• Mentor project team members to facilitate growth and skill development within the organization
• Track project performance and progress through regular checks of projects and ongoing team interaction.
• Develop financial metrics and regularly assess financial performance against metrics for projects. Develop strategies for cost effective project delivery while maintaining design intent
• Assist with proposal development in pursuit of new business; solicit input from technical leads and lead the development of comprehensive cost proposals

Qualifications

• 10 years of professional experience in Architecture
• Bachelor's degree; B Arch or M Arch desired
• Registered architect
• LEED Accreditation or within 18 months of hire
• Expertise in one or two of the following markets is preferred including Higher Education, Healthcare, Aviation, Commercial Office and Government.
• Proven track record as a Project Manager with large, complex projects involving work that ranges from Pre-design through Construction Administration, including contract negotiation, work plan development and the ability to work with a variety of project delivery methodologies
• Excellent leadership, verbal and communication skills, and effective client relationship skills and talent for leading and working with diverse teams of designers
• Familiarity with project work plan methodology for planning and managing the work
• Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Ability to work in a collaborative, design focused open environment
• Ability to travel as the project(s) requires

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in one or two of the following markets is preferred including Higher Education, Healthcare, Aviation, Commercial Office and Government.
• Management leadership in projects recognized in the industry though awards and publication
