Job Description:

The Program Director plays a key role in the strategic planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of Leading Purpose's programs and initiatives. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Director will oversee all aspects of program management and ensure the effective delivery of services to our target beneficiaries. Specifically, I provide leadership and oversight to our Transitional Housing Programs and CalAim (Medical) Division.

Responsibilities:

Program Development and Planning:

• Lead the development and refinement of program goals, objectives, and strategies in alignment with the organization's mission and vision.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs, assess feasibility, and prioritize program initiatives.
• Develop comprehensive program plans, timelines, and budgets to guide implementation efforts.

Program Implementation and Management:

• Provide leadership and direction to program staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations and execution of program activities, ensuring adherence to established timelines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints.
• Monitor program progress, identify potential risks or challenges, and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

Partnership Development and Collaboration:

• Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, funders, and other stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness and sustainability.
• Collaborate with external community partners to leverage resources, share best practices, and coordinate service delivery efforts.

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning:

• Develop and implement systems for monitoring and evaluating program performance, including the collection and analysis of relevant data and feedback from program participants and stakeholders.
• Utilize evaluation findings to assess program impact, identify areas for improvement, and inform decision-making processes.
• Facilitate learning and knowledge-sharing among staff, volunteers, and partners to promote continuous improvement and innovation.

Reporting and Communication:

• Prepare regular reports on program activities, accomplishments, and challenges for internal and external stakeholders, including funders, board members, and the broader community.
• Serve as a spokesperson for the organization's programs, representing Leading Purpose at meetings, conferences, and other events as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work, public health, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in program management, preferably in a nonprofit or social service setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of program planning, implementation, and evaluation methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Experience working with transitional housing programs and other community supportive services is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
