Position: Program Manager (Development Programs)
Location: Irvine, CA - Onsite Required
Position Description:
DZYNE has an immediate need for a talented Program Manager for our LPO program who will join our industry-leading team at our location Irvine, CA. We are seeking a Program Manager to oversee the execution of anticipated contracts that supports one of DZYNE’s innovative unmanned vehicle products.
This position requires experience in executing complex operations contracts. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing programs from inception to completion. This position requires a person that can develop, baseline, and update an integrated master plan. Specific demonstrated experience in leading successful rapid product development is highly desired.
Required Skills and Responsibilities:
- Lead internal meetings and assign tasks across cross-functional teams will be key in this role.
- Lead communications with the customer including customer meetings and managing personnel and other resources to complete program requirements is a must.
- Report hardware and services delivery status internally and to the customer.
- Coordinate project tasks with internal team members.
- Ensure high personnel performance at the customer site
- Employment is contingent upon meeting background and drug tests
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in manned and/or unmanned aviation or a similar field
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree is preferred
- 10 years of experience that includes government program management
- Previous manned and/or unmanned aviation experience in the US Military
- Program Management Professional qualifications are a plus
- Self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
- Active Secret Clearance
- Earned Value Management experience
- Experience in running non-traditional, rapid reaction programs
- Experience running field operations programs of UAS programs in the Aerospace and Defense industry
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field
- 5 years of experience that includes government program management
Clearance Level Required: No Security Clearance is required, but it is highly desired.
Travel: Sporadic

- Must have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine
- Involves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work.
- May be performing physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, climbing in and out of equipment, crawling, and working outdoors.
Salary: $115k - $176k
Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
