Le B. is Hiring a Reservationist Near New York, NY
We're seeking a self-driven, experienced, and enthusiastic Reservationist to join our team Tuesday-Saturday from 9pm-5pm at Le B.
The Reservationist plays a critical role in the dining experience as s / he is the very first representative that our guests will interact with;
you will be the diner’s first impression of the restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor and sophistication, yet be able to deliver services in an approachable and friendly manner and will be proficient of word, excel, internet searches and maintaining a database.
Prefer experience using Resy, Toast and Google platforms.
Responsibilities :
- Facilitate and input all incoming reservation requests
- Maintaining a positive attitude and always maintain composure
- Answer all emails and phone calls with a warm, inviting & professional tone
- Confirm daily bookings
- Accommodate guests by making each individual feel heard and helped
- Communicate both internally and externally in a kind manner
- Input guest and wine notes from previous night's service
- Knowledge in restaurant menu including any menu updates (Food, Bar, Wine)
- Identify and report problems to management immediately
- Be able to multi-task phone, email, and in-office responsibilities and provide the appropriate service
- Assist with large party / event management
- Assist with office related administrative work
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Must be able to work on-site , Tuesday - Saturday from 12pm-8pm
- Must have 2 years experience in a fine dining NYC restaurant as a Host or Reservationist
- Passion for Hospitality
- Ability to learn quickly
- Experience working with Resy & Toast is preferred
- Proficient typing skills
- Must be knowledgeable of Industry critics & awards
- Must be able to take constructive criticism and work well in a team dynamic
- Must have flexible schedule availability
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to hiring
