Lakes Area Graphix and Signworx is Hiring an Administrative Assistant / Apparel Decorator Near Kensington, MN

We are looking for a well-rounded individual to join our office team. We work on daily office tasks such as, imports for invoicing and payments, reporting, mail, bill entry and bill pay. Our office manages books for multiple brands, we are always looking for ways to improve reporting processes and speed.

Along with the office tasks, we may have some light production work on promotional/gift type items and apparel. Along with producing these items we put together the shipments and send them to customers all over the United States. We are a growing business with opportunities in many areas, we are hoping to grow along side you.

Department: Administrative / Apparel Decorator

Education/Experience: Minimum of a 2-year degree in business management. Experience in an office setting and/or as an Apparel Decorator is not required but can be helpful.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Demonstrate professional, respectful & positive interaction with other team members and customers.
  • Accurately & professionally represent Lakes Area Graphix to customers & vendors.
  • Imports to QuickBooks for invoices and payments
  • Balancing of payments and recording entries into checking records
  • Receiving and redirecting phone calls to the appropriate departments or person
  • Filling documents as per the requirement of the office managers
  • Data entry and loading other necessary information into the software programs.
  • Running reports from data entry with excel, making reports and graphs for multiple departments and managers on a set schedule.
  • Ordering supplies/products for our multiple offices and production facilities
  • Collection calls for past due payments
  • Confirmation of receipt of goods, prior to entering bills
  • Sending/Sorting of mail and using equipment to do so.
  • Decorating apparel with printed or embroidered logos/icons.
  • Packaging of orders to ship to complete clothing program type orders.
  • Laser Engraving of promotional/gift type items
  • Picking and packaging of orders and shipping them
  • Customer service to a small sampling of customers

Qualifications:

  • To be able work on a variety of tasks throughout the day, some days being split up from office to production and other days being one or the other.
  • Working knowledge of the following software: QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and willing to learn our custom software programs.
  • Ability to provide recommendations for continuous improvement of internal systems and procedures.
  • Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Understand and value working as a team to accomplish goals.
  • Knowledge of the apparel decoration industry can be beneficial but not recommended.
  • Ability to provide positive customer experience for customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
