La Causa Nikkei is a nickname for the children of Japanese immigrants who arrived in Peru. Starting in the 1980s, the fusion of Peruvian and Japanese food began to be called by that name: exotic, healthy and delicious, rich in a diversity of flavors, combining Japanese rigor with Andean mischief. La Causa was born based on a typical Peruvian dish, but the name also refers to the cause that the restaurant has as a fundamental pillar: to offer its clients the best gastronomic experience, accompanied by impeccable service. That is why the goal is to be a unique and innovative place that was born to revolutionize the gastronomic proposal of the city, creating incredible experiences and flavors.

The group is made up of seven brands based in Colombia that add up to a total of fourteen points of sale and two exclusive hidden kitchens for take-out and delivery: Romero Artisan Cuisine, Aire de Romero, Delirio Exquisito, Voraz Restaurant, Mekong Thai Restaurant, Bangkok Street and La Causa.
General Manager Position
POSITION SUMMARY: The General Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of our restaurant, including the selection, development and performance management of employees. The GM will also be responsible for meeting EBITDA and COGS goals. They will provide 100% support and commitment to the Restaurant in regard to data-driven strategies, policies, procedures, guests, staff, and purveyors. Assume the role and requirements of the Training Manager for the restaurant.
We are looking for a Restaurant General Manager to lead all aspects of our business. You will motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service.
Restaurant manager responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability, and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation and maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Back of the house management experience is essential, as you’ll assist in hiring qualified Cooks and Wait Staff, set work schedules, oversee food prep and make sure we comply with health and safety restaurant regulations. We’ll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.
