Position Overview:

Maü Miami is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing high-volume dining establishments. The General Manager will ensure that every guest enjoys an unparalleled dining experience and that the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, service, and health and safety.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure exceptional customer service, promptly addressing and resolving any issues or complaints.
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure consistency and excellence in food presentation and taste.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety codes and employment laws.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and the local community.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure ongoing development and adherence to company standards.
• Analyze performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
• Drive marketing and promotional initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
