We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Spirits Sales Manager to join our team and lead our sales efforts. As the Spirits Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives dedicated to promoting and selling our portfolio of premium spirits to customers. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share. Role and Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve sales objectives.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
Identify and prioritize sales opportunities, including new business development and account management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retail partners.
Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to support brand initiatives and promotions.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences to inform sales strategies and product offerings.
Analyze sales data and performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions to ensure the success and development of the sales team.
Represent the company at industry events to promote brand awareness and foster relationships within the spirits community.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in alcohol sales management. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving growth. Knowledge of the spirits industry, including key players, market trends, and distribution channels. Ability to analyze data and market research to inform sales strategies and decision-making. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed. Passion for spirits and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
