Position Overview:

As a Business Development Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to connect with property owners and investors in the real estate market. Your main objective will be to respond promptly to leads, nurture relationships, and schedule qualified appointments for our experienced agents and property managers. This role requires a proactive approach to outbound calling, texting, and emailing, coupled with exceptional organizational skills to manage client interactions in our CRM system.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming leads via phone, text, and email, aiming to reply within 2 minutes.
  • Input lead information accurately and promptly into our CRM system.
  • Schedule appointments for leasing agents and property managers, ensuring effective communication and follow-up.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting calls to various potential lead sources in the real estate industry.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients, both over the phone and in person.
  • Meet and exceed goals for appointment setting ratios, outbound prospecting calls, and lead follow-up.
  • Collaborate with property managers and agents to understand unique selling propositions for different regions.
  • Coordinate contract negotiations and obtain lead signatures for closing on management agreements.
  • Provide ongoing customer service support by facilitating introductions to appropriate team members.
  • Work closely with the Business Development Analyst and Sales Director to maximize potential closures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client and company information.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Exceptional listening, oral, and written communication skills with a dedication to customer service excellence.
  • Capability to become a licensed real estate agent.
  • Proven experience in inside sales with a track record of success.
  • Understanding of rental property management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cloud-based CRM systems.
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities using common sense and reasoning.
