Primary responsibilities include Risk and Control support, issue management, Ops Loss reporting, Policy guidance, Metric design and Management reporting. Associates should have a good working knowledge of fixed income and/or equity products and their lifecycles. Our associates are expected to collaborate with our support partners to maintain, develop, and implement effective globally uniform workflow controls.

We are seeking a senior level individual contributor with a strong control mindset and experience across multiple Global Markets products. Ideal candidates should have gained hands on experience across Global Markets Trade Control, Operations, Audit or Operational Risk Control teams supporting the Fixed Income, Currency or Commodities trading businesses including derivatives instruments. This position will operate as a Risk Lead and Control Partner for the FDCO Ops Risk and Control team supporting the FICC leadership Team Globally.

Responsibilities:

• Principle Lead responsible for supporting, implementing and maintaining the overall Risk Framework Objectives across FDCO FICC globally with LOB Partners and OR&C colleagues.
• Supporting Fixed Income Trade Controls Transition from a Process, Risk & Control (PRC) governance framework to the new Single Process Inventory (SPI) while ensuring adaptability to support Operational Excellence expectations;
• Facilitate FI Trade Controls operations compliance with Laws, Rule and Regulations in support of FDCO’s responsibilities. 
• Participate in the Risk Control Self Assessments for FI Trade Controls operations and corresponding business line support;
• Effectively review & challenge lines of business Process & Control Ratings (PRC/SPI), including the control design & performance effectiveness reviews;
• Support Operations teams during Internal audits, GCOR Targeted Risk Assessments, Operational Risk Assessments and Regulatory reviews;
• Research and Investigate ad hoc Risk and Control or governance inquiries across FI Trade Control; 
• Strive to embed a risk awareness culture across the Global Markets Core Operations.

This individual contributor role will have regular interaction with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior management in FICC & Derivatives Operations, Compliance and Operational Risk, Business Controls Monitoring & Reporting (BCMR) & other Enterprise level Risk teams across the organization.
