Konnect General Stores is Hiring a Regional Food Service Manager Near Dallas, TX

Description

Are you a driven leader who is passionate about the QSR and Food Service industry? DAK’s Market is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Regional Food Service Manager to oversee food service operations and drive the success and growth of our convenience store QSR and FSPO locations within a designated region. 

As the Regional Food Service Manager your primary responsibility will be to ensure that each restaurant within your region meets and exceeds company standards for customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and profitability. You will provide leadership, guidance, and support to individual restaurant managers to help them achieve their goals and drive overall success. 

Leadership and Management:

  • Provide leadership and direction to restaurant managers within the region.
  • Hire, train, and develop management teams to ensure consistent performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to managers.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple QSR and FSPO locations, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor key performance metrics, such as sales, profitability, food costs, labor costs, and customer satisfaction, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Implement and enforce operational standards to ensure consistency and quality across all restaurants.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, to support promotional activities and manage inventory effectively.

Financial Management:

  • Manage annual operating budgets for each restaurant within the region.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to optimize profitability.
  • Review financial reports and analyze trends to make data-driven decisions and forecast future performance.

Customer Service and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that all restaurants deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Respond to customer feedback and complaints in a timely and professional manner, striving to resolve issues and exceed expectations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with brand standards and regulatory requirements.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between corporate headquarters and individual restaurant locations.
  • Communicate company policies, initiatives, and operational updates to restaurant managers and staff.
  • Foster open communication and collaboration between restaurants within the region, sharing best practices and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field (preferred). 
  • ServSafe certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in QSR operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven experience of driving sales growth, operational excellence, and profitability in multi-unit management within the QSR or fast-casual restaurant industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Flexibility to travel frequently to stores within the region of TX, LA, and KS.
  • Commitment to upholding company values and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • POS Systems (Qu POS, NCR Aloha and Gilbarco) 

Willingness to travel:

  • Up to 50% (Preferred), to locations throughout OK, TX and KS
