We are currently seeking an experienced Senior HR Specialist Retirement and Benefits to support the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection in Washington, DC. This position is full time and onsite.

The successful candidate will provide support services that include the following:

• Provide retirement and benefits counseling, preparing annuity estimates, reviewing, completing, and processing retirement applications.
• Resolve complex retirement and benefits issues.
• Research and respond to general phone and email inquiries regarding retirement and benefits, and coordinate retirement and benefits with other Federal agencies.
• Create and execute plans for actions with minimal supervision.
• Participate in employee outreach and new employee orientation events.
