We are looking for an HRIS Manager (may be open to remote candidates)

Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced HRIS Manager with a strong HR generalist background to join our global work team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of direct experience managing HRIS systems, with a focus on UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group), Microsoft SharePoint, and other HR applications. As an HRIS Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of our HR information systems while collaborating with team members from around the world.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Overall System Management:
    • System “superuser” to manage and maintain the company's HRIS systems, including UKG and Microsoft SharePoint.
    • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security within these systems.
    • Serve on global HRIS work team to ensure system effectiveness across regions.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement within HRIS systems.
    • Collaborate with HR and IT teams, both locally and globally, to optimize workflows and system performance.
    • Identify, recommend, and implement best practices for the HRIS.
    • Ensure the user experience is positive and effective.
  • Project management:
    • Key role in new work group implementations and new modules.
    • Internal project manager, partnering with implementation partners to ensure all deliverables are successfully achieved.
  • User Support and training:
    • Provide technical support and training to HR staff and end-users across different geographic locations.
    • Troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Analyze HR data to generate reports, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making for global teams.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards for HR metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Compliance and Security:
    • Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) on a global scale.
    • Implement security measures to protect sensitive HR data for our international workforce.
  • Vendor Relations:
    • Manage relationships with HRIS software vendors and third-party service providers, taking into account global considerations.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and technology advancements with a global perspective.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Human Resources that possess strong technical skills.
  • IT or a related field will also be considered . Master's degree or HRIS certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in HRIS management, highly preferred UKG and Microsoft SharePoint experience.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead system implementation and optimization projects across global teams.
  • Technical knowledge to configure and be compliant with legal regulations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong HR generalist background with experience in various HR functions.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance and data protection regulations with a global outlook.
  • Experience working in a decentralized or multi-location environment is an advantage.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Outlook, advanced skills are preferred.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excels at interacting and communicating at all levels within the organization.
  • Action oriented and organized with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent follow-through skills.
  • Resourceful, flexible, and shift priorities quickly.
  • Up to 15% travel.
