Reporting to the Restaurant Manager ? The Local Place, the Dishwasher is responsible for hand washing and restocking all trays, utensils, and pots/pans, as well as keeping the dishwashing and other assigned areas clean. The Dishwasher is committed and empowered to create an Aloha Experience by working well with the team and building positive relationships with our guests and the Ohana. ****Job Requirements:****

**Dishwashing Operations** 60%

* Hand washes all trays, utensils, and pots/pans.

* Restocks clean utensils and pots/pans in kitchen, prep, and service areas.

* Completes side work in a timely manner.

**Stockroom Operations** 15%

* Stocks newly arrived products into the kitchen storage area, walk?ins, and freezer using FIFO (first in first out).

**Sanitation and Maintenance** 20%

* Cleans and maintains the three compartment sink including changing out chemicals as needed.

* Prepares and maintains sanitation bucket for each station.

* Degreases, mops, and cleans floors in kitchen, bakery, walk?ins, and storage areas; cleans mats and floor drains.

* Follows good housekeeping policies and keeps dishwashing area clean and orderly by mopping and cleaning floors, wiping down equipment, and other sanitation jobs assigned.

* Provides general clean up and daily maintenance to service areas and building, inside and outside.

* Keeps storage closets, mops, and storage areas clean.

* Cleans trash cans, both inside and outside.

* Empties trash cans and replaces trash liners in kitchen and prep area.

* Removes all trash from building, both inside and outside, including boxes.

* Breaks down boxes before depositing in outside dumpsters.

* Cleans office area.

* Informs management of necessary improvements in physical condition of building, repairs, and maintenance.

**Coordination and Communication** 5%

* Assists in bakery and kitchen as needed.

* Participates in training of new employees or employees who change job classifications

**Health and Safety** Employees are responsible for following and promoting these activities at all times:

* Follows all sanitation guidelines as prescribed by the health department.

* Understands and complies with all general and specific safe job procedures that apply to this job including: using knives safely, wearing slip resistant shoes, utilizing accurate lifting techniques, and not taking shortcuts.

* Reports all unsafe conditions or equipment immediately.

* Immediately reports all accidents to the Supervisor/Manager and acquires first aid for all injuries.

****Skills/Experience:****

* Speaks and understands basic English.

* Able to report to work physically and mentally ready to do the job. We insist on a substance?free work environment.

* Able to be present at work for assigned schedule including, nights weekends, holidays and extended hours when required.

* Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work well in an environment with time constraints.
