KINETIC LEASING, INC.
POSITION: Business Development / Account Executive
SALARY RANGE: $50,000 to $60,000 – fixed base salary plus monthly commission/incentives
HOURS OR WORK: Generally 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Requires some
flexibility in work schedule, and occasional additional hours depending
on the volume of new lease contracts sourced, and the amount of time
needed to achieve personal goals and help the company reach its goals.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Direct Lease Marketing
a. Solicit and develop equipment lease volume within various industry segments identified by the owners of Kinetic Leasing. The generation of lease volume is primarily conducted through mailers, telephone follow-ups, and on-site visits.
i. Municipal markets (ie: schools, cities, counties, townships, etc.)
ii. General commercial market (including construction and manufacturing)
iii. Healthcare / medical industry
b. Solicit and develop vendor lease programs
c. Direct marketing efforts will be done via:
i. Direct contacts to customers, manufacturers and dealers of equipment
ii. Direct Telephone Marketing
iii. Direct Mail Marketing
d. Geographical areas include:
i. Minnesota
ii. North & South Dakota
iii. Iowa
iv. Wisconsin
e. Lease Products will include
i. Lease Purchases - $1.00 buyouts, 10%, 20%, etc
ii. Lease Purchases with stated buyouts (ie: 10%, 20%, 25%,etc.)
iii. True Lease – Fair Market Value
iv. True Lease – Fair Market Value – 1st Amendment
v. Operating Lease
vi. Municipal/ Tax Exempt Lease
2. This position will be responsible for the following:
a. Proposal Letters
b. Commitment Letters
c. Documentation – delivery, execution, return and follow up of certain outstanding items prior to lease commencement
d. Submissions to include:
i. Completed application
ii. Financial statements (business and personal as required by Kinetic Leasing)
iii. Equipment specifications
iv. History and background of company
3. Other Duties
a. Assist with the collection of past due lease payments
b. Assist with the collection of current financial information on all transactions awarded to Kinetic Leasing
c. Other duties as may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Commercial equipment leasing experience – not required, but would be beneficial
2. Sales experience – developing business leads, managing customer relationships
3. Banking and/or finance related experience
4. Must be innovative, influential, daring, and direct—with a high tolerance for taking chances.
NOTES:
Priorities in this position should be focused towards generating new lease volume, and secondly assisting in the marketing efforts of Kinetic Leasing to increase the volume of leases generated.
