Kimley-Horn is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Raleigh, NC

Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Raleigh, NC office! This is not a remote position. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with annual indirect cost rate audit and related compliance activities through preparation of analyses and workpapers
  • Research applicable rules/regulations (FAR, CAS, etc.) and understand related processes to recommend improvements
  • Prepare for and support the annual business planning process
  • Perform data requests, financial analyses, and other various analyses, as requested by senior executives
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and other monthly financial reports
  • Assist with special projects among various teams nationwide

Qualifications

  • 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in Audit in Public Accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA required or CPA eligible
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent quantitative skills combined with an ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations
  • High degree of professionalism and the ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization from new hires to senior executives
  • Exceptional client service mentality and strong work ethic
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Must be an excellent team player as well as work independently
