Kiddie Campus University is Hiring a Preschool Administrative Assistant Near Lutz, FL

We seek an energetic individual to fill the position of Preschool Administrative Assistant. We are a preschool with numerous locations, offering opportunities for advancement. Candidates should possess exceptional organizational skills to effectively support both parental and administrative requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

- Print and distribute weekly lesson plans and homework assignments to teachers.

- Provide support and training to new and existing teachers within the classroom setting.

- Conduct daily and quarterly classroom observations to assess teaching effectiveness and compliance with standards.

- Offer teachers constructive strategies and achievable goals to enhance the quality of care provided in their classrooms.

- Maintain accurate inventory records of materials in each classroom, ensuring compliance with accreditation and licensing standards.

- Coordinate the ordering process for classroom materials, seeking approval from the program director and regional manager.

- Oversee facility closure procedures each night, ensuring adherence to teacher-to-student ratios.

- Plan and coordinate monthly events.

- Uphold classroom standards, including ensuring appropriate center quantities, stocked shelves, and well-maintained bulletin boards.

-Assisting in classrooms as necessary - Additionally, candidates should be capable of addressing behavioral needs in classrooms, offering extra assistance or suggesting and implementing strategies for both teachers and students

-Providing teachers with breaks

Interactions with children should be conducted in a composed and professional manner, with utmost care. Maintaining a professional demeanor with colleagues and administrators, including exhibiting respect and effective communication, is imperative.

Candidates should exhibit strong organizational skills and proficiency in utilizing provided technology to track children, adhere to checklists, and maintain cleanliness in accordance with the established planogram.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Two years or more experience working with preschoolers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and to handle multiple tasks.
  • Must meet federal and state health and safety standards and maintain credentials for childcare (1st Aid, CPR, CDL, CDA, 45 DCF HOURS).
  • Able to work flexible hours on occasion.
  • Excellent organizational and computer skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Respect for others’ experiences, opinions, language, values, culture, and knowledge.
  • Access to a reliable source of transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
