JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience as a project manager, construction manager, designer, or engineer, with large complex projects
- 3-5 years of project management experience
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience is desirable
- Knowledge of project management principles, and engineering and construction practices in airport-related projects is preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is desirable.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical branch preferred
- Able to operate computers using word processing, spreadsheet, and civil engineering and architectural software.
- Able to read blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to come up with timely and efficient solutions to complex problems and issues.
- Ability to lead a team (internal and external) and organize everyone around a common goal.
- Able to multitask multiple projects and teams with exceptional organizational skills.
- Maintain effective work relationships with agencies, contractors, and general public.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work outside occasionally in environmental, atmospheric, and sometimes hazardous conditions.
- Ability to have close visual acuity.
- Ability to work outside with increased noise levels and vibrations.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and conditions that are associated with construction and development projects.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Coordination with client, subconsultants, and internal team.
- Foster positive client relationships. Directly interact with clients to negotiate contract terms, define scope, and maintain consistent communication.
- Plan, organize, direct, and manage project team activities.
- Set goals and evaluate staff performance. Motivate staff to excel in day-to-day work activities and maintain a positive, collaborative, and creative spirit within the team.
- Define and control project scope, budget, and schedule. Assist in reviewing Requests for Proposals, preparing fees and contracts, and monitor project billing.
- General technical project oversight/management, technical design
- Preparation of fee proposals and other project pursuit work
- Monthly project progress billing and manage profitability of each project and team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
