KenCCID, a leader in providing residential housing and support services to Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Northeast Philadelphia, is currently seeking a knowledgeable, disciplined Community House Manager.

The Community House Manager (“CHM”) is responsible for providing a safe, homelike environment for each Individual at each home assigned to them, within the budget provided. CHMs work with the KenCCID team to ensure that Individuals receive needed medical care, support, and opportunities to participate in their communities. CHMs supervise the work of direct support professionals, who provide direct care to Individuals.

• This is a non-exempt position that may require the CHM to work overtime hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
• Must carry a KenCCID-issued phone which is kept on and is monitored at all times, including evenings and weekends.
• This is not a work from home position. All CHMs are expected to visit all homes assigned to them on a regular basis.
• All KenCCID positions are subject to a background check.
• All KenCCID positions require proof of vaccination against COVID-19.

Required Job Qualifications:

1. Valid US state-issued driver’s license.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Goal driven, self-sufficient, with excellent time management skills.
4. Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
5. Mathematical aptitude sufficient to perform fiscal responsibilities for cost center management.
6. Ability to effectively communicate company policy and hold subordinates accountable for noncompliance.
7. Ability to multi-task, manage crises, and manage subordinates, while maintaining a positive and calm demeanor.
8. Excellent computer skills and willingness and ability to learn new software applications.
9. Intelligent and practical approach to carrying out job duties and taking ownership of responsibilities at assigned community homes.
10. Full vaccination against COVID-19.

Physical Requirements

1. Ability to travel to assigned community homes and perform work duties onsite for majority of work week.
2. Must be able to lift 40lbs.
3. Ability to climb and descend stairs frequently during the workday, carry, fold, kneel, reach, stack, stoop and bend which may require direct intervention with Individuals.
4. Manual dexterity and fine motor skills required to write, use a computer, use a smart phone, open and close medication (and other) bottles, drive a vehicle, climb stairs.
5. Must be able to report to work during emergencies, including inclement weather.
