This critical position reports directly to the Vice President. Together, let’s shape the future of our organization!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with benefits administration tasks, including enrollment, changes, and terminations, and serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to benefits.
  • Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed accurately and on time. This includes but is not limited to I-9 verifications, new hire & termination checklists.
  • Assist with HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records, updating HR databases, generating ACA, EEOC, and new hire reporting.
  • Handle employment verifications and injuries related to workers compensation.
  • Distribute benefits enrollment packets such as life, health, dental, and disability insurance, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and team member assistance. Review submitted enrollment forms for completeness and supporting documentation, respond to inquiries, and conduct benefits orientation sessions and benefits open enrollment meetings.
  • Assist team members in filling out medical enrollment forms, 401K, and direct deposit forms.
  • Ensure candidates transition smoothly from applicants to valued team members.
  • Other duties may be assigned based on the needs of the company in any department, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Alternatively, a High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2-3 yrs. of Human Resources experience.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS system is a plus.
  • Takes ownership of job responsibilities with personal pride and accountability.
