We are looking to hire an Estimator for our Building Group in St. Louis, Missouri.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, specification, and contract documents to establish scope of work and quantity takeoffs.
- Request quotes from subcontractors and vendors.
- Conduct bid phone calls.
- Attend estimate kickoff meetings.
- Complete assigned scope sheets
- Attend any scope meetings related to project.
- Complete meeting notes and distribute notes in estimating meetings.
- Assist in preparing estimates for each phase of the design/build or budget process as well as for negotiated or competitive bids.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and find prospective new customers.
- Complete quantity surveys and takeoffs of work and establish production rates.
- Assist in estimates and work with senior estimators managers to form final estimates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Ability to build and maintain a positive working relationship with staff, vendors, and clients.
- Experience using Procore, ProEst, Onscreen Takeoff, MC2 , Bluebeam. Not required but preferred.
- Exceptional time management and customer relation skills
- High attention to detail
