PFit Global Inc is Hiring a Project Estimator Near St. Louis, MO

Primary Responsibilities

Creating accurate material and labor estimates, along with detailed proposals, for HVAC and plumbing projects.

Analyzing bid documents including mechanical drawings, specifications, etc. to determine project requirements.

Identify potential value engineering opportunities to help clients meet their construction goals.

Attend bid walk throughs, site visits, meeting with both general contractors and directly with owners to better understand the required scope of work.

Attend all project meetings (kick-off, pre-construction, coordination, BIM, planning, turnover etc.)

Work with Project Managers and Engineers to establish project requirements, crew size, and budget.

Ability to stay up to date with current construction market trends, affiliated union contract changes, and track STL Metro market.

Qualifications:

5 Years of Mechanical Estimating Experience Preferred

Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering Preferred)

Proficiency with construction management software such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Bluebeam, ProCore, Building Connected, Etc.

Knowledge of mechanical systems and best practices.

Able to create detailed take-offs and account for all potential project costs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Well organized, self-motivated and the ability to multi-task.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, equipment / material submittals, and other technical data.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $160,000.00 per month
