BSA Services Corp is Hiring a Project Estimator Near St. Louis, MO

Job description:

The client has an immediate opening for a Senior Mechanical Estimator for our St. Louis, MO office.

Primary Responsibilities

· Creating accurate material and labor estimates, along with detailed proposals, for HVAC and plumbing projects.

· Analyzing bid documents including mechanical drawings, specifications, etc. to determine project requirements.

· Identify potential value engineering opportunities to help clients meet their construction goals.

· Attend bid walk through, site visits, meeting with both general contractors and directly with owners to better understand the required scope of work.

· Attend all project meetings (kick-off, pre-construction, coordination, BIM, planning, turnover etc.)

· Work with Project Managers and Engineers to establish project requirements, crew size, and budget.

· Ability to stay up to date with current construction market trends, affiliated union contract changes, and track STL Metro market.

Qualifications:

· 5 Years of Mechanical Estimating Experience Preferred

· Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering Preferred)

· Proficiency with construction management software such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Bluebeam, ProCore, Building Connected, Etc.

· Knowledge of mechanical systems and best practices.

· Able to create detailed take-offs and account for all potential project costs.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Well organized, self-motivated and the ability to multi-task.

· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, equipment / material submittals, and other technical data.

Education:

· Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

· Mechanical Estimating: 5 years (Preferred)
