Kappes Miller Management, LLC is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist Near Bellevue, WA

Kappes Miller Management, a leading property management company in the Pacific Northwest, is looking for a full-time accounts payable specialist with 3-5 years of experience. Associates degree or better in accounting preferable or comparable working experience in property accounting. Software experience in Appfolio is a huge plus, but not required. Proficiency with outlook and windows is a requirement.
The accounts payable specialist is responsible for entering invoices and maintain all accounts payable records. The position requires specialized skills in organization, accuracy, timeliness, problem solving, clear verbal and written communication. Other duties as assigned.
The position works closely with all internal departments. Please include a cover letter that tells us about you, and provide a resume.
Job responsibilities include the following:
*Enter invoices daily.
*Prepare and process bi-monthly check runs
*Work with property managers and GL accountants to process special check runs.
*Answer/research vendor phone calls regarding accounts payable.
*Maintain accounts payable email.
*File/Maintain invoices and AP records.
*Obtain and file W-9s, and process of year-end 1099 forms.
*Assist with special projects.
