As the Regional Sales Manager, you will oversee sales activities in the western U.S, driving sales targets, strategic plans, and market penetration for our life-saving products. Reporting to the VP of US Commercial Operations, you will collaborate with a growing team of industry leaders to drive U.S. operations and initiatives in alignment with Kamada's vision.

We offer competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $120,000 - $140,000, commensurate with qualifications, skills, and experience.   • Expertise in Selling to the Hospital Market: possesses deep understanding in selling to the hospital market, specifically in the areas of transplant and infectious diseases, with experience navigating the specific challenges and opportunities in these therapeutic areas, and a proven track record of driving successful sales in relatable fields.
  • Strong Regional Management Skills: demonstrates exceptional skills in managing and optimizing sales operations across diverse territories and possesses the ability to strategically allocate resources, set and exceed sales targets, and provide effective leadership to a geographically dispersed sales team.
  • Clinical Savviness: possesses a deep understanding of the scientific and technical aspects of the biopharmaceutical industry with the ability to effectively communicate complex and highly technical information to HCPs ensuring clear understanding and successful product adoption.
  • Thrives in an Entrepreneurial Environment: ability to excel in an entrepreneurial environment by proactively identifying opportunities, taking calculated risks, and driving innovation while adapting to the ever-changing demands of the market, navigating ambiguity, and maintaining focus on business goals and initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates a proven track record of success in all aspects of selling, including technical knowledge, selling techniques, data interpretation/analysis, and deep understanding of the medical field and pharmaceutical industry.
  • Develops, leads, and executes a regional sales plan with specific goals and targets to drive sustained growth.
  • Achieves success by influencing treatment protocols in the transplant and infectious disease markets.
  • Establishes strong personal relationships with KOLs, emerging thought leaders, and HCPs who influence treatment decisions.
  • Excels at delivering value through clinically focused dialogues with HCPs.
  • Builds and maintains solid customer relationships with key executives, decision-influencers, and decision-makers at major centers, clinics, and other accounts.
  • Effectively understands, analyzes, and communicates scientific/technical business information while adhering to applicable pharmaceutical marketing and sales regulations, guidelines, and policies.
  • Demonstrates outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills within pharma and transplant communities and cross-functional teams.
  • Successfully manages product launches and/or product turnarounds.
  • Serves as a recognized industry expert with in-depth knowledge of industry trends, product information, and disease states, including understanding the overall goals of treatment plans, cost-effectiveness, dosing, duration, and other relevant factors, as acknowledged by managers and peers.

Preferred Experience

  • Transplant experience: established contacts and continuous engagement within the transplant community with a proven track record of selling into the hospital transplant market.
  • Clinical Expertise: demonstrated experience utilizing clinical data to educate HCPs.
  • Multiple Products: success in promoting multiple products to a diverse range of HCPs.
  • Managing a Large Geography: experience effectively managing a significant number of target accounts across a wide geographical area.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of diagnostic/pharma/medical experience.
  • BA or BS degree, preferably in life sciences or business administration.
  • Experience in hospital transplant sales with established HCP contacts and influencing treatment protocols/algorithms.
  • Experience communicating clinical data to physicians and non-clinical personnel, fostering engagement with diverse stakeholders and establishing relationships with key thought leaders.
  • Experience managing accounts, inventory, expenses, budgets, and excelling in sales planning, organization, and execution across diverse business conditions.
  • Experience educating and training medical personnel, peers, and technical support staff, with a track record of success in collaborative environments.
  • Ability to travel up to 90% initially and 75% as the team expands, including some evenings and weekends for regional and national meetings, conferences, and advocacy support events.
