Retail Sales Associate

Duties:
- Assist the store manager in daily operations and management of the retail store
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Supervise and train staff members to maintain high standards of performance
- Assist in developing and implementing training programs for new hires and ongoing training for existing employees
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability
- Handle cash transactions, including opening and closing registers, counting cash, and making deposits
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Assist in implementing sales strategies to achieve store targets

Experience:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in a retail environment is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficient in basic math skills and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
