K’Far is hiring an experienced barista to join our team!
Qualified applicants will join a team of committed servers, baristas, support staff and managers with a steadfast commitment to the highest hospitality standards and product knowledge in a fast paced, upscale casual atmosphere. The right candidate is both professional and personal, with an impeccable work ethic and a team player attitude.
This is a 2-3 shifts per week position with room to grow into a full-time position over time, and availability to work weekends (Friday-Sunday) are mandatory.
Responsibilities include working efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, keeping a clean and organized workspace, daily syrup and ingredient preparation, helping guests, and lifting objects up to 30 lbs. We have morning and afternoon shifts available; weekend shifts are required. We operate as a team and a hospitality driven attitude and a willingness to learn are highly encouraged. There is room for growth for the right candidate.
Required Experience Includes:
At least 1.5 to 2 years of barista experience
High volume restaurant experience
Some counter experience/knowledge
Some bartending knowledge preferred
Some server and host experience is a plus
Experience with Toast POS
Some experience with Resy
The right candidate is exceedingly dependable, puts forth a great attitude, is looking to learn and grow every day, and is committed to our small-but-mighty team.
