Joule Capital Ventures is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Houston, TX
Job Summary:
Joule Capital Ventures is a privately held commercial real estate investment firm specializing in the self-storage industry.
Joule Capital Ventures is seeking a professional and detail-oriented financial analyst to join our team. The financial analyst will support the financial and operational arms of all JCV owned/managed real estate assets. You will be responsible for underwriting and financial analysis of all investment opportunities, providing support and recommendations to maximize our investment strategies.
Responsibilities:
Perform financial analysis and due diligence on potential investment opportunities. Utilize tools and software to process and interpret financial information, identify trends and patterns.
Generate detailed reports on investment findings and recommendations. Monitor and evaluate the performance of exisiting investments using internal modeling and external property management software (e.g. Sitelink).
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, coordinate and provide support with accounting department and investor relations coordinator.
Assist in the development of investment strategies and portfolio management activities, conduct cost accounting and cash flow analysis for investment projects, assist in budgeting, financial planning and forecasting.
Assist with lender financial reporting documents, tax returns, accounting data, real estate debt schedule, Partner financial information, etc.
Procedure Documentation. Document all procedures and best practices, contribute to the development of a standardized process for financial planning and forecasting.
Assist with the implementation of new processes and optimization of current internal models and databases.
Participate in special projects as needed.
Work with the marketing department to track and analyze the success of current promotions and marketing initiatives.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in finance, preferably self-storage
- Exceptional Proficiency in Excel, understanding of Zoho CRM a plus
- Proven experience as an investment analyst able to interpret complex financial data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional problem solving skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
