Position Description:Ryerson has an opportunity for a multi-site EHS Manager to join our Environmental, Health, and safety team in the Ryerson Processed Metal business unit, which has facilities in Pittsburgh, Chicago, Cleveland, Louisville, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, and Hickman, AR.
In this role, you are responsible for collaborating with the Company's EHS Department in standardizing policies and processes across the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:
*Provides leadership in implementing and managing EHS policies, programs, and practices for multiple locations. Ensure recordkeeping standards for EHS programs are implemented and maintained. Implement and coordinate with facility leadership on safety programs to reduce or eliminate occupational injuries
*Performs risk-based audits and inspections of facilities to identify potential safety hazards and work with all levels of employees to determine and implement effective controls and corrective actions
*Leads team through a thorough incident investigation process for all injuries and significant near misses
*Drive continuous improvement in our safety culture while working towards exceeding site-specific safety goals. Participation in site Safety Council activities and projects. Transfer safety SOPs, procedures, and processes to market activities
*All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
Position Requirements:*Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related technical degree; or adequate knowledge and experience to demonstrate competency as defined in the job description
*Minimum 5 years experience in an EHS role in manufacturing or a metals service center environment or managing EHS for multiple sites
*Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor employees in a matrixed organization
*Ability to communicate upwards orally and written
*Ability to meet deadlines and effectively multi-task in a demanding environment
*Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership abilities
*Effective delegation, employee development, and team leadership skills
*Impeccable attention to detail; effective problem-solving skills
*Must be self-directed, professional, and dependable
