We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in the engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, and onboarding. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interviewing candidates
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off
- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management
- Conduct new hire onboarding, including orientation, training, and paperwork
- Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files and HR databases
- Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with all state and federal requirements
- Assist with other HR projects and initiatives as needed
- 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Experience with recruiting and interviewing candidates
- Knowledge of employee benefits administration and leave management
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
