Our Client is a leading general contractor in the Oregon area looking to expand their highly profitable commercial sector of their business. looking for someone that is ready to lead a team and work in an environment that fosters success in their commercial projects from hospitality, retail, and public works. They mainly do ground up, new construction, renovation, and tenant improvements. They are looking to expand their special project division within their Portland market, wanting to add someone with experience in the realm.

Description

• Assuring all projects are built to drawings and specification
• Handle the distribution and coordination of all RFIs, Submittals and Change Orders
• Assure all materials orders are executed
• Daily project paperwork
• Maintaining schedule and meet deadlines
• Maintain work flow and strong relations with subs
• Maintain and organize field documents ( Drawings, specifications, etc )
• Coordinate subcontractor
• Partake and actively participate in company training sessions
• Has worked on commercial projects

Profile

• Has a Bachelor's degree in construction/ engineering from an accredited University
• Commercial project experience (ground up, tenant improvement, and shell and core)
• Has worked on special projects within their career
• Degree in Construction Management or related degree
• 2 year's experience in the field
• Strong mathematical and computer aptitude is also necessary
• Go getter attitude, wanting to expand and their knowledge and learn
• Skills with Procore, Bluebeam, Plan grid, scheduling, and Microsoft

Job Offer
