General Summary

Responsible for overall Operations and Maintenance functions for contracts at healthcare facilities in assigned region. Responsible for management and oversight of multiple projects and contracts at one time. Responsible for new contract start up, prebid opportunities, daily monitoring and project management support. Responsible for the development and management of budgets and job costs at each location. Responsible for cultivating a “safety always” culture. Position directly supervises senior-level project managers at jobsites. Deliver exceptional customer service, high levels of employee engagement, operational excellence, profitable and safe task order performance by supporting the sites and enabling success of the Team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and supervision to project managers
• Conduct jobsite visits and inspections; implement corrective actions, if necessary.
• Monitor overall jobsite and contract performance.
• Review all disciplinary actions for employees at the jobsite level
• Negotiate collective bargaining agreements with unions
• Provide contract support and interpretation to project managers
• Negotiate contract modifications with government personnel
• Review jobsite monthly reports; evaluate performance and compliance
• Communicate with project managers and government representatives via e-mail and phone on a daily basis
• Provide staffing estimates in support of the marketing department for potential new contracts
• Assist with development of new proposals
• Approve all capital expenses at jobsite level
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements

• Associate degree or Technical Trade School journeyman level, bachelor’s degree, preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of NFPA, EPA, and OSHA codes and standards
• Management and leadership skills required.
• Detail oriented
• Must be able to handle multiple projects at multiple locations

Physical, Environmental and Sensory requirements

• Position works in office areas as well as throughout the facility.
• Physical demands include intermittent sitting, standing, and walking, and occasional bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Moderate exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc. but not to the point of being disagreeable.
