We have an exciting opportunity to join our Plymouth, MNteam. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant – Returns and Inventory. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for submitting/tracking/clearing product returns by following company policies and within vendor terms. Includes timely accountability for AR and AP reconciliation of returns. The employee will also provide clerical and administrative support to the branch.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work effectively as a team with JHL management and all JHL personnel.
  • Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Promote and maintain the image and reputation of JHL ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for daily monitoring/billing of demand delivery charges.
  • Managing freight claims/payments
  • Works with corporate inventory coordinator to track non-stock material returns and credits.
  • Works daily with Warehouse Returns Specialist.
  • Maintains office supplies for Corporate and Plymouth branch.
  • Shares receptionist duties.
  • Document indexing.
  • Process credit card payments as needed.
  • Performs project duties as required.

Qualifications


  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and personable professional demeanor.
  • A dedicated passion for providing external and internal customer service.
  • Written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and collaborate within a multi-functional team.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
  • Computer experience with Eclipse knowledge preferred.
  • Strong understanding of basic math.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and self-starter.
