Berglund Automotive is a well-established and reputable automotive group with 10 locations, representing 20 different automotive brands throughout Southwest and Central Virginia. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team.

About the Role

As the Custodian, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of Berglund Chevrolet dealership, which includes offices, showrooms, restrooms, and service reception areas.

This is a full-time, hourly position, working Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the dealership, including offices, showrooms, restrooms, and service reception areas.
• Empty and clean trash receptacles and recycling bins.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Clean and stock restrooms with necessary supplies.
• Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in custodial or janitorial work.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
