The Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program offers unique opportunities in
Scientific, Technical, and Administrative / Office support for individuals age
55 and over and per EPA Policy applicants must be US Citizen to support the
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through a grant administered program
through National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions). This is a
unique program where your talents, expertise and experience will truly be
valued. The EPA provides a wonderful work atmosphere, and you'll be working
side-by-side with EPA staff that are doing important work every day. Paid
Accrued Vacation, Paid Accrued Sick Time, Paid Federal Holidays One Individual
Holiday, and optional Vision and Dental Insurance available. This position does
require a background check prior to onboarding. Must be a United States Citizen
to be eligible for this position. Local applicants only. Must live within local
commuting distance and able to work onsite as scheduled.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 year(s) of experience in An administrative and technical capacity
utilizing Microsoft Office, Word and Excel software, reviewing and editing
documents for format and grammatical correctness; developing Word documents and
Excel spreadsheets; advising others regarding the use of Microsoft Word and
Excel; reviewing documents for format and grammatical correctness. OR BA/BS
Degree
Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS
SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Outlook, MS OneDrive, Adobe, Fax, Copying Machine,
Scanner
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook,
OneDrive)
Duties:
This position will be responsible for data, software utilization, and
administrative support, to include typing, editing, and formatting documents and
spreadsheets; copying; mailing documents out; scanning paper documents into
electronic format; compiling electronic documents to CD; assisting with
appropriate disposition of records, including shredding documents; and assisting
paralegals/support staff in their daily duties.
Analyzing data and developing spreadsheets and other electronic files;
develop document templates for use by the office, possess expertise on Microsoft
Word and Excel: and advise staff concerning their use. 30%
Typing, editing, formatting documents - Proofread, edit, and format
correspondence and documents. 30%
Copying 15%
Mailing 15%
Scanning, including the ability to scan and name documents, compile and burn
to CDs; Prepares case files and organizes documents for filing. 10%
Other:
SEE Enrollee will be required to complete annual CBI training to perform the
duties of this position.
