How You Will Make an ImpactThe Talent Acquisition Specialist II (In-House) will focus on developing and executing recruiting strategies to support the company’s staffing needs. This position will oversee “source to seat” recruitment for both exempt and non-exempt roles.The Nuts and BoltsFacilitate full-cycle recruitment process, including: researching best talent sources & talent pipelines, sourcing passive candidates, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, designing and delivering offer letters, and transitioning prospective new hires to onboardingServe as the go-to center of excellence for salaried and “office hourly” hiring, able to respond to ad hoc requests for information on topics including: local, regional, and national labor market conditions, credentialing requirements, salary range valuation and the company’s competitive position with candidates, candidate motivations, etc.Act as a results-oriented Business Partner, intuitively understanding when to prompt unresponsive hiring teams, when to seek support from departmental or Human Resources leadership, when to adjust strategy, etc.Collaborate with departmental leadership to draft and update detailed and accurate job descriptionsConduct preliminary phone screens with candidates and schedule on-site interviews as needed, providing summaries and recommendations to hiring manager for interviews and hiring decisionsCollaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, contributing to conversations around salary ranges, incentives, start dates, etc.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policiesFunction as a brand ambassador, representing the organization at off-site eventsActively maintain Applicant Tracking System (candidate status, requisition status, job postings, etc.) and compile reports from the HRIS and external tracking reports (requisition log)Required CredentialsHigh School diploma or GED required, degree preferredMinimum 3 years of in-house recruiting requiredManufacturing industry experience experience preferredHow We Make an ImpactAt Reading Truck, we have more than 65 years of industry leadership in the manufacture, distribution, and enhancement of work truck bodies.
